Hi everybody,

Just wanted to ask for prayer for Josh's family right now. His grandpa just passed away today. He had late stage Parkinson's and has been bed ridden for quite a while and hasn't been able to do anything for about 8-10 months. Then about 6 months ago his mind started to go. Hospice has been coming in for a while taking care of him and every one's been expecting it for a while, but I don't know if that makes it any easier on them. I'm not sure when the funeral is yet, but most of Josh's family will be driving or flying here in the next week so pray for traveling safety for them.

On a lighter note, Duncan is feeling better. I gave him Metacam and started him on antibiotics for his feet, but he started sneezing on Saturday and Taijah started on Sunday so now I have two cats on antibiotics. There's been a really bad upper respiratory virus going around--we've had several cats die from it in the last month or so, so I'm hoping to ward the bacterial part of it off some. Good thing my cats are easy to medicate--put it in a bowl and they lick it out!!! Oh and Duncan didn't learn his lesson. Josh fixed the screen and we let him out again. 10 min later Josh looked out and he was outside the porch--he'd pushed his way through again!!! So, porch privileges are lost for the cats and Duncan is NOT happy about it! He sits at the door and cries but he's stuck inside now.

We finally got our bedroom decorated--Western style :o) I'm sure that doesn't surprise too many people. I'll see if I can get some pics of it and show you. i still don't have a table for my scrape booking room so I can't show you pics of of that either. Oh well, maybe before we move again in a few years it will be set up!
